Where is Casa Loma?

Two Blocks north from Dupont Station take a left at Davenport, right on Walmer, parking on the right hand side. Please follow signage to ensure you are parked in the appropriate parking lot.

How much will it cost to participate?
Thanks to the generosity of Casa Loma and it’s operator the Liberty Entertainment Group, this event is free for marrying couples to participate. Ontario Marriage License fees however cannot be waived and are $140.00 + tax. Guests of the couples may purchase tickets once the couples have been registered for the event. 

Can I buy tickets if I am not a guest of one of
the married couples? 

Tickets for the event are currently limited to guests of the engaged. Each couple is reserved up to four tickets for their guests. There may be additional tickets available after each couple has had a chance to redeem their reserved tickets.

How many couples will be married?
We hope to be the largest LGBTQ wedding in history with up to 150 couples simultaneously exchanging their vows!

 

How will my marriage credentials be
recognized in my home country?

This is dependant on your home country. In some cases where same-sex marriage is not legal, you may be able to enter a civil union to be treated similarly to being married under the law. Please check with your home country’s laws for verification.

Is the ceremony restricted to couples of a
certain faith?

There will be officiates arranging vows from a wide variety of faiths at the ceremony. For more info please see our list of officiates on our “About The Event” page

Will there be food and refreshments
available at the event?

Yes! Complementary Hors d'Oeurves will be passed during the cocktail reception. There will also be additional food and beverages available for purchase from our Bar and Chef Stations. .
